Among my many photography-related dreams, capturing Bharatanatyam dancer portraits has always held a special place. A year ago, Himaja Rao, the mother of a talented dancer, approached me with an exciting proposition—to capture photos of her daughter's upcoming Arangetram event. Thrilled by the opportunity, I immediately accepted the challenge.

Six months later, I had a detailed discussion with Himaja Rao and Venkat about the project. Despite my lack of experience in shooting Arangetram events, they trusted my vision and expertise, which motivated me to dive deep into preparation. With only a few weeks to schedule and execute the photo session, I treated it like a mini project management task. Pre-visualization played a crucial role as I meticulously planned the lighting, positioning, posing, and composition in advance. Thanks to this preparation, the execution phase was smooth and efficient.

During this project, I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Prabha Ravi from Natraj School of Dance. Her cooperation and support were instrumental in the successful execution of the photoshoot.I'm immensely grateful to Venkat and Himaja Rao for their belief in my work and granting me creative freedom. It's rare to encounter such passionate individuals who prioritize excellence, especially when it comes to their daughter's artistic journey.

A special mention goes to Mugdha, the talented dancer whose passion for art shines through her every move. Working with her was a delight, and I'm confident she'll shine brightly on her big day. This project brought together a team of passionate individuals, united by our love for art and dedication to excellence. I firmly believe that when passion meets determination, the universe conspires to make dreams a reality.

It took me 13 years to land an opportunity like this, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This project will always hold a special place in my heart, and the memories created will be cherished forever.
